Denim and Things

Happy November. This is the month when everyone is Thankful with Warm Hearts. During the month, I will focus on a theme each week that is close to My Heart and showcase my favorite fashion choices, whether they be old or new. The first week I wanted to focus on Denim because growing up in the North and South, primarily in the South, I believe I have learned to master Country Chic with a Twist.

Now, let's get to the good stuff!

Doesn't a Denim Jacket with shades just make you feel cool? In this look, I wanted to start off with my Denim Jacket from Kut from the Kloth (similar here). This is a great way to liven up something that is simple. I wore it with a Striped Black and White Top (here) and a Black Skater Skirt (here) both from H&M. I rocked it out with Franco Sarto Black Booties (similar here).

I wanted to showcase my Isola Shoes from DSW in this one (similar here) and I had a simple outfit in mind to make them pop! Quick Question Mommies; Have you ever had a hard time finding Distressed Bermuda Shorts? Well I do and I happen to read an article about how Kim Kardashian West got her final look to these Bermuda Shorts that I just had to have. Do you want the secret? Yeah, I know that you do, so I won't make you wait. She cut her Skinny Leg Jeans into Bermuda Shorts! When I read that, I was like, Awesome Sauce, what a Brilliant Idea! Now, I know that you may be thinking, I can't afford to do that, but I am sure that you have a pair of very old Skinny Jeans that you can spare. Lol, while you ponder doing that, here's a break down of my look.

Lastly, my favorite outfit this week. Denim and Lace the epitome of Country Chic! So, I'm dropping the mic right here!

Oh, I almost forgot! Hold Up! ✋Wait! Before you leave! I have decided to end my blogs with facts about me 😂.

Fact #1: I am an avid shoe collector. I love shoes and DSW is my favorite go-to shoe store.

Fact #2: I almost always shop on the clearance and/or sales rack. I also shop out of season, meaning in the Spring and Summer I shop Fall and Winter and in the Fall and Winter I shop Spring and Summer. Bottom line, I am a Deals Type of Girl!
